Your audience's peak hours, on your clock

Every window below is stated in the audience's local time. Choose where your followers are and the tool converts each one into the timezone your browser is in — including the days that shift.

  • Mon–Fri 9 AM – 6 PMaudience local time(broad weekday band)
most-cited slot: Thursday around 9 AM
  • Tue 1 PM – 7 PMaudience local time(Tuesday afternoon)
  • Wed 12 PM – 9 PMaudience local time(Wednesday, the widest window of the week)

Weekdays outperform weekends consistently, and Wednesday is the day that recurs most often.

These are commonly cited industry ranges, not a measurement of your audience. Treat them as a starting hypothesis: post inside a window for a few weeks, compare it against your own analytics, and keep what actually moves. There is no single best time, and any tool that gives you one is guessing.

The timezone is the part nobody calculates

Every window above is stated in the audience's local time — so a “Wednesday 4 PM” slot for a US audience is the middle of your night if you work from Europe or Asia. Oxhype schedules against your audience's clock, not yours, and publishes while you sleep.

Your best times in three steps.

  1. Pick your platform

Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, or Pinterest — each with the windows commonly cited for it.

  2. Set your audience timezone

Tell the tool where your followers mostly are. Your own timezone is detected from your browser.

  3. Convert, then test

See each window in audience-local and your local time, and where the published ranges pull in different directions — then validate against your own analytics.

Stop converting timezones. Let it schedule for you.

This tool tells you when your audience is awake. Oxhype posts then, whatever time it is where you are.

  • Scheduled to their clock

Set a posting window once and Oxhype publishes against your audience's timezone, not the one you happen to be in.

  • Per-platform timing

Different networks peak at different hours — Oxhype schedules each platform's post independently from one upload.

  • Hands-off publishing

Approved posts fire in their window on their own, including overnight and at weekends.

Best-time calculator questions

Where do these times come from?

They are the posting windows that recur across the large published best-time analyses of recent years, carried here as widely-cited industry ranges. They are not a measurement of your audience and we publish no engagement numbers of our own — the honest claim this page makes is the timezone maths, not the windows.

Why does a platform show more than one window?

Because the published ranges genuinely disagree on several networks. X is cited both mid-morning and around midday; TikTok both weekday afternoons and evenings. Rather than average two ranges into a single number nothing supports, the tool shows both and says which platforms are contested.

What does the calculator actually compute?

The timezone conversion. Every window is stated in the audience's local time, so the tool anchors each one to the audience timezone you pick and converts it — daylight saving included — into the timezone your browser reports. Days shift across the international date line and the conversion shows that.

Is there one best time to post?

No. Published windows are a starting hypothesis, not a rule — your own audience's habits beat any global average. Use these as a first schedule, then check your platform analytics and adjust.

Can Oxhype schedule to these windows for me?

Yes. Oxhype schedules per platform against your audience's timezone and publishes automatically, so you don't have to be online at 4 PM in someone else's day.
